A comedy play written by Becky Mode, currently showing at The Arts Theatre near Leicester Square in London.
Sam, desperately trying to be an actor, is filling in the time working in the basement of a restaurant. He has to deal with the Head Chef, the Maitre D', his colleague / manager who doesn't turn up today, the other employees, and, of course, countless people calling up trying to make reservations.
So what's so good about this play? Despite the cast of about 40 people, it's a monologue. One actor - Mark Setlock, who created the role in New York with the author - plays every single character, using dozens of different voices, accents and styles.
This will have you laughing almost non-stop for the for the hour-and-a-quarter that it runs
