Mid-
80s platform game written for the
BBC Micro, Frak! featured a
penguinesque character which had to be maneuvered around a typical
series of
levels of platforms and jumps while dodging a variety of
bad guys.
Notable for the graphics, which were high-quality compared to most
contemporary games, and the speech bubble with the words
"Frak!" that came out of the character's
mouth whenever he died. Long before anyone thought of nude raider
there was a patch for Frak! which changed the speech bubble to be a
different four-letter word beginning with F and ending with K.
