A friend of mine who was part of a revolutionary communist party once asked one of the old school members:

'How, if the revolution is created by the working class and only given direction by the party, will we know we are being effective?'

'Easy. When most of us are locked up, shot or hung. Then you'll know we're hitting a nerve.'

For someone to accept so easily that their actions and deeds could lead to such personal tragedy and yet to continue, to refuse to stop fighting. It takes a lot. It takes the spirit of a revolutionary.
