This started out as my Ghost Tao Cider, but mutated because I couldn't find the exact right ingredients. Since I ended up just sort of pouring
everything into it, and since there were a lot of E2ers at the
party, I figure this particular
permutation should be Everything Cider.
EVERYTHING CIDER
- 1
gallon/3.78 L
apple cider
- 1 large can frozen
Peach-
Orange-
Mango juice
- 3 chunks
candied ginger
- 3 bags
Republic of Tea Ginger Peach, brewed in one
cup
- 2
tablespoons
pumpkin pie spice
- 2
dashes
cinnamon
- 1 dash powdered
clove
Combine all ingredients in large
crockpot/
slow cooker. Heat, covered, on high for two hours, stirring occasionally. Before serving, use a ladle to remove the shells of the ginger, if any. Leave the lid off and put the heat on low or medium to keep it warm and make things smell good. It comes out a nice sort of opaque amber color, and tastes good (
IMHO, of course). Serves about 15.
