EAW is well-known for manufacturing quality professional
loudspeakers. Their systems range from the
MM series (EAWs for small applications, such as recording studios), all the way up to their
KF series, which are generally found in concert halls, and stadiums. KF stands for
Ken Forsythe, the founder, btw. More specialized cabinets include their
DC (
Avalon) series, which are specifically designed for electronic music-type clubs.
EAW was acquired by Mackie in mid-2000.
