The water filter system used by college kids everywhere. I think real people use them too, but I wouldn't know. It's a clear pitcher with a white reservoir at the top. You pour water in the top, it flows through a filter, and sits in the bottom ready to pour. What's really cool is that the unfiltered water in the top stays there when you pour rather than flowing out the spout. Oh yeah, and the rectangular and slim ones fit in the door of the fridge. Change the filter every two months and you've got water that tastes like water (me, I'm not too good for tap) and crystal-clear ice cubes.
