The Brangus, a breed the attributes of which include excellent adaptability, easy birthing (due to a wide pelvic bone), and disease resistance, is a cross of Brahman (3/8) and Angus (5/8) cattle.

The Brangus keeps many of the strengths of the popular Brahman, including longevity, but its beef is improved by the presence of Angus stock.
