This just happened to me:

I decided to clean my house. I then swept my floor.

I picked up a nipple for one of the family's many baby bottles. I threw it into the sink, from the living room.

The trajectory and velocity were just enough to tip over a drinking glass that was unwashed, in my sink.

The glass was very thin; it shattered as it hit the bottom. The glass emptied its stagnant contents into the sink.

Apparently, this bit of water was the final straw which was needed to break the bottom of the piping under my sink. Water spilled onto the floor.

I don't know. I thought it was pretty interesting, the flow of events.
