And in the sky, I confide

Clouds of yacht blue yonder

And on the inside, I wonder

A jay bird takes flight

Over a Bering wave in the night

I taste like ice and I hate it

Further and further I sink

Under these waves

Won't you abate?

I don't want this fate.

And all I can write about anymore

is this stupid state of mind.

I am the jay with the broken wing

I don't mind, I'll be fine

Leave me behind on this incline

If I jump

maybe

I'll

fly.

Superior blue dominates the mind

I don't want to feel this way tonight

So in the sky, I'll confide

...

This was a final project assigned in my AP Psychology class. The idea was to pick a paint chip, and write something relating to a psychological disorder, whilst using the four hues on the chip word-for-word within the writing. Naturally, I jumped at the chance. The hues in question are yacht blue, jay bird, bering wave, and superior blue. The last one's a bit of a stretch, but I think I got it right.
Unfortunately, this is based off personal experience -- something I wish to explicate a little more on in another writeup, perhaps a daylog. I'll link it here when I've written it.
Some of the pipe links contain lyrics from Floodside Hymn Song by Quedronol, which is really a cover of Kinko's field trip 2006 by underscores, but the Quedronol version is the main inspiration.
That's all for now. Talk to you soon.
