A little stream that starts just south of Collingwood, Ontario and runs through Waterloo, Kitchener, Ontario, Cambridge, Ontario and Brantford, Ontario before dumping into Lake Erie. Also known as The Mighty Grand.

For some reason this little trickle is considered by many to be the basis for civilization. I can't understand it.

Apparently paint factories in either KW Area, Ontario or in Cambridge dump their sewage into the Grand River. Brantford uses the Grand River as their water supply. Did I mention that Brantford is downstream?
