An artificial lake in Waterloo, Ontario just north of the University of Waterloo. The lake is actually owned by the University, and is managed by the Grand River Conservation Authority as a resevoir for watershed control. Accordingly, it is drained before the winter, and then refilled in the spring, usually around May.
