Radical socialistic, anarcho-syndicalist meta-union. Also known as the "wobblies." Dedicated to overthrowing capitalism in order to preserve democracy. Organized in Chicago in 1905, the IWW clashed with the business interests during the early part of the 20th century; a time when Socialist Eugene V. Debs won ~1,000,000 votes for President. The IWW holds comparatively little power today.
