With my recently bought
computer, i realized that there was a color code for
hooking up the
wires. This takes all of the
fun out of putting it together. Any
moron (well, almost any moron) can now
successfully hook together a computer. The code (for
Dell at least, but it seems to be an
industry standard sort of thing) is as follows:
Blue:
monitor
Green:
mouse
Purple:
keyboard
Light
Green:
speakers
Red:
microphone (or other comparable device)
Black:
power supply
