IP_kill wreaks havoc by launching a near-infinite number of patent filings, copyright challenges, injunctions, and queries centred around a particular piece of intellectual property. The targeted piece of IP becomes entangled in the resulting web of suits, counter-suits, and patent hearings -- the defence of which becomes financially impractical for even the most powerful opponent.
