Very popular in 1990. These ruler-looking things, about 8 inches long, flat, and thin, that you slapped against your wrist, and it would mold to it.

The cheap ones were made out of a very cheap, and thin metal that you could easily cut yourself on. This caused a large number of schools to ban these accessories.
