Probably a common occurance during the days of the bubonic plague. In modern times this is more of an impending sensation than anything else. It can be brought on by any number of factors including, but not limited to:

• Respiratory infections
• Smoke inhalalation
• Cleaning the cat box
• Changing diapers
• Morning sickness
