Civilized

A relatively high level of cultural or technological development.
Entirely opinion.

But that's just theory. This is what we usually refer to as civilization:
"You're different! You're uncivilized! **** The Minority!"
The problem with this is that everybody is a minority in some way.

A civilized culture is focused around support of cities and the specialists who dwell there. Civilization implies roads, waste management, industry, centralized trade and government, and professional specialization.

Literally the behaviour expected in a city - from the latin cives. Generally taken to mean conforming with the standards of the society in which the person using the word lives.
No more a misspelling than colour or sulphur - rather the way every Anglophone outside the USA spells it.

The misspelling part of this w/u was in response to a now-nuked w/u saying this was a misspelling of civilized.
