The first album of the 1970's fusion-rock band Mahvishnu Orchestra. Possesses an intensity that I have yet to find in another recording. Unbelievably raw and gut wrenching, yet surprisingly poised and musical.

IMHO one of the great recordings of all time, and unique sounding to this day. Some of the best John Mclaughlin and co. have to offer.
