Originally a quaint Mexican fishing village located in Jalisco, Puerto Vallarta has become a popular tourist spot. It hosts many resorts and things like a Hard Rock Cafe. (If you like that sort of thing.) Other than beaches, drinking and eating, there is little to do. There is little to do in the way of culture (no pyramids, etc., and the dilapidated movie set for the Arnold Schwarzenegger's Predator is a big tourist trap), so P.V. is not for everybody.
