Snoqualmie is also a
pass and, I believe, a small
town that goes over the
Cascades, near
Seattle. It's where most
Seattlites go on weekends to
ski.
The pass itself is a paltry 3,000 ft., however, it still gets slick and shouldn't be scoffed at. There are some intersting places around the Snoqualmie Pass area, including Leavenworth, a Bavarian village.
