Maybe this should be "The
known universe is finite".
In just three dimensions, there could be other large groups of galaxies, the size of the known universe, Trillions and trillions of light millenia away.
And if you count other, as-of-yet-undiscovered dimensions, then it is actually pretty likely that the entire universe is infinite. Or Multiverse. Whatever.
