Winklepicker.

I was listening to "SaysYou" on NPR and the word up for discussion was "winklepicker."
The bluffs were good -- "Someone who picks lint out of machines in tactile mills," "The device used for picking whole grapes out from the squashed ones when traditionally making wine."

As it turns out, a winklepicker is "a shoe with a pointy toe."
Not quite as exciting as I had hoped ...
