Created by André Franquin, Gaston Lagaffe is one of the most well known french comic book character (though not internationnaly known). He is a lazy worker for the Spirou Magazine, a real french comic book magazine. Lagaffe is the perfect incarnation of the anti-hero philosophy: he's always sleeping, eating, or doing something that doesn't have anything to do with his job. He was also the first one to use the french expression "m'enfin".
