The West Australian Sunday Football League, based in Perth West Australia, is the last metropolitan based league still playing football on Sunday in Australia, except for the AFL.
Against the trend of staggered working days, casual working hours and all day shopping the WA SFL has consolidated its base over the last 5 years to where it is now growing in club numbers.
The organization’s marketing and promotions wing has managed to retain the Sunday League Gazette, as well as producing a comprehensive website to give the football following public around the world an opportunity to stay in touch with there club's progress, news and events.
With a new administrative and financial structure it has secured the future of it's member clubs and is guaranteed of a 5% vote in the revamped West Australian Football Commission.
