An
independant record store in
Athens,
Georgia. it's
a Good Place, full of good
music, moderately
surly employees, a
fuckton of
posters from various
bands plastered in
strata several thick on the walls,
t-shirts,
posters for sale,
stickers and various other music-related
merchandise. One may also
procure tickets or
passes to many local
concerts and events there.
the funniest thing about Big Shot is the fact that they only take cash. if you try to buy something without a fistful of presidential flashcards, you're SOL. the store is arranged so the back of the counter is close to the large plate glass window overlooking the street. when the store is closed, track lighting illuminates the wide open cash register drawer, bill keepers all flipped up as if at attention, saluting everyone walking by.
