Led Zeppelin's Presence was their seventh album. Though it charted to number one on the UK and US charts, the album gets little airplay compared to other Zep albums.
The cover art was created by
Hipgnosis, who did many of
Pink Floyd's covers, and featured a black
object being prayed upon, taught about, generally
revered. Many people equated this object to Led Zeppelin's supposed deal with the
devil.
