I miss it, the future I have seen 

when I come home  (the place, not the date) I return with memories

I cannot bring back photos (they evaporate)

only images I recall and words I try and remember  

My friends in those days ahead say I am lucky

that I can go back and fix all of my mistakes 

I tell them perhaps, but we were all younger then
