Munich, inflicting Germany's heaviest defeat of the modern era and putting England firmly on course for the 2002
World Cup in

South Korea.
He's the first English player to score a hat-trick against Germany since Geoff Hurst in the '66 final, and it's only his second international hat-trick of his career - though not his last I'd bet. Only 21 and the world at his feet.
