An small (about 50? people) annual
gaming festival held wherever there is room. This year it was held in a hotel conference room (I can't remember the name of it), the year before it was held in
Stewart Center. There are games such as
StarCraft,
Age of Empires,
Unreal Tournament, etc. But always always always the
main attraction is the newest
release of
Quake (Quake 2 last year, Quake 3 this year). There is a
registration fee of 15
bucks and you can pay 15 more for a
T-Shirt, but I've never gotten the shirt I paid for (I don't think anyone did). They usual have decent prizes like a
laptop computer or the newest
3d video card.
The website (if i remember right) is http://www.cs.purdue.edu/quakefest.
