The act of
taking pictures using a
camera attached to a
kite or
kite string.
The camera equipment and accessories are known as a
rig, and consist minimally of a disposable camera and a mechanism for tripping the
shutter. More complicated arrangements can include autowinding cameras,
remote control for taking multiple shots during one flight, for directing
servo motors for aiming, or for zooming the lens.
