A term frequently used in the game SLA Industries, denoting that a character has attempted to access information which their Security Clearance Level does not allow them. The acquisition of multiple D-Notices may warrant an investigation by SLA Internal Affairs, with possible involvement from other departments if the information is of a particularly sensitive nature.
