A classic Swedish Drinking Song, probably originating from the tales of the little Swedish house gnomes, known as tomtar. (See Tomte Gubbe for some more information)
Worth noting is that the word tomte also is Swedish for Santa Claus, which confuses some people. While the house gnomes are often bearded, they are both small and easily upset, and usually gave you a hard time if you didn't give them food and a place to stay. But if you give them what they want, they will serve you well and take care of both your livestock, your crops and your farm.
