A
common argument against the existence of
god.
It goes essentially like this:
- God is omnipotent.
- God doesn't like evil.
- God could and would eliminate evil.
- Evil is still here.
- Therefore, God does not exist.
The most common defense agaisnt this argument is the free will defense.
