h4x0r, (not necesarily pronounced
lamer) originates when bored
computer genii felt it necesary to confound the
newer users by introducing a new style of writing to
plain text. When utilities that hackorized your writing did it become non-cool to do so.
Compare to
graffiti you might see on the wall at the subway as opposed to normal writing.
