A Toronto concert hall with truly heinous acoustics. The acoustics in the 18-year-old concert hall have never worked; the musicians can't hear themselves play and the audience can't hear the music the way it was meant to sound. The board of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra promised to renovate the hall when Jukka-Pekka Saraste arrived in 1993, but never did.

Called "The Hat" or "Roy Thomson's Hat" by Torontonians, because of its dropped-chapeau shape.
