A Linprinter is a (theoretically) Windows-only printer which has had Linux drivers written (or more likely kludged) for it. Linprinters include the HP Deskjet 710C and the Lexmark Z13 Color Jetprinter.

Often, the printers work worse with the unofficial drivers than they would under Windows, although text quality is usually good. Lexmark's drivers certainly win the award for the worst Linux drivers ever (and they're official!), as every printout I have ever made on a Lexmark printer under the 'nux has ended 2in from the bottom of the page, and the drivers require X.
