"Greetings, my friends. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember, my friends, future events such as these will affect you in the future."

American psychic (?) and actor (?) (1907-1982). Real name: Jeron Criswell King. Best known as the dreadful, deadpan narrator with the stentorian voice and the lopsided blond hair in Ed Wood, Jr.'s "Plan 9 from Outer Space" (for which he wrote his own dialogue). He also appeared in "Orgy of the Dead" and "Night of the Ghouls" (also Ed Wood pictures).

He was originally a television psychic. While he did predict that John F. Kennedy would not run for re-election because of "something that will happen to him in November 1963," he also predicted the imminent assassination of Fidel Castro and the destruction of Denver, Colorado. He claimed that Mae West would soon be elected President on a pro-space travel platform and, in a book of prophesy in 1969, encouraged readers to keep track of what he predicted correctly -- at least until August of 1999, "after which it will not matter."
