Richard Black is the creator of several custom artisitic pool cues ranging from $125 to $10000+ in "artistic value" (note - artistic value and wallet drain are directly related).

His most famous piece (cue), the "Chantilly" is currently on display in the Smithsonian. His favorite designs can be viewed online at http://www.blackcues.com

All cues are made by hand in his personal machine shop in the garage of his home. With as many as 900+ inlays in the butt of the cue, each piece is a masterpiece just waiting to be played with or hung on some rich dudes mantle.

Black produces less than 100 cues per year, and most run $2500, so these majestic pieces are not for those without a great love of the game or art.
