Jewish communities that was founded in the
U.S. Technically speaking, it is a now a
denomination, but it began as a movement in
Conservative circles and has influenced many other Jewish communities in the U.S. It is headquartered at
Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in
Philadelphia.
Best known slogan: "the past has a vote but not a veto."
Most widely emulated concept: the havurah.
