A thick paste made from roast and processed, commonly ground (for chunky) or expeler pressed (for creamy/part chunky), peanuts. Originally created by George Washington Carver, as a less expensive replacement for butter (don't belive me? Try leaving it out to get to room temp, then check out it's consistency).

Also, wonderful combined with jelly, fruit preserves, or honey, squished in two slices of bread, or smeared over the top of one, to form a sandwich, openface sandwich or not. Great source of food whenever your in a hurry, to lazy to fix anything more involved, or to busy consentrating on other things. Staple food of geeks and hackers everywhere.
