Tragic Mulatto (named after film/literary character archetype) is a defunct noise/punk band that was signed to Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles record label, and featured the talents of lead singer/tuba player Flatula Lee Roth. The band was notorious for breaking into sex acts during their live shows, and often performed with a police escort. Album titles include "Hot Man Pussy" and "Italians Fall Down and Look Up Your Dress". Their more memorable songs include "She's A Ho" and an amazing cover of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love".

The band was most active in the mid-to-late 80's through the early '90s, when the band dissolved.
