stealership - noun

A stealership is a derogatory name for a vehicle dealership. The stereotypical dealership is able to take additional money from people in multiple ways. Some people bring their vehicles in for repair at the dealerships where they charge more to fix your vehicle. Dealerships can overcharge on entire vehicles and/or upgrade options on that vehicle purchase. Dealerships can rig financing to benefit them. Dealerships can also give you less than the fair value for your trade-in.

Today dealerships are less able to be unfair towards their informed customers. On the internet, people can check out the invoice prices of new cars and options. They can also look up their vehicles worth and know a fair trade-in value. People now know that finance institutions are out there being competitive and can find them more easily. Information is power
