A snowskate, which was my recently received
christmas gift, is a combination
snowboard and
skateboard. However, the bottom has a
convex shape, so that we weight of the rider is
evenly distributed on two central points, allowing for ease of riding.
It's other features include:
Some of the sweet things about the snowskate, is that it has no bindings, so that you can bail easily and MacGyver out of it. The foam refuses to get slippery, and grips really well.
Currently, only the Premier Snowskates company sells these, and they come in three models.
These all retail for between $70 and $90.
Premier Snowskate currently has a website at http://www.premiersnowsk8.com/, and a 5 minute demo video titled "Progression".
