"Remote wall" or "remote write to all" - a UNIX command to broadcast a message to all users logged into one or more machines. Usually used by file servers when doing a shutdown to warn all clients who have mounted filesystems from the server. The rwall protocol is layered on top of the ONC RPC protocol.
