Plastibell is the tradename for a device used in circumcision to circumcize baby boys. It consists of a small plastic bell which is placed over the end of the penis and covered by the foreskin. A piece of string is tied tightly around the foreskin. This stops the supply of blood to the foreskin and eventually, after 7 - 14 days, causes it to drop off, leaving the baby circumcised
