A play on the words glamour and gymnastics describing a form of watered-down, Disneyfied, semi-competitive gymnastics where the athletes play out crosses between skits and gymnastic routines. Often accompanied by cutified frilly leotards, "star" judges, cheesy soft rock ballad background music and chintzy prizes to make the competition look real. Infamous examples include the Reese's Cup and Rock and Roll Challenge.
