The Videogame Music Archive is a massive collection of video game music, in MIDI format. As of April 23, 2002, the site contained 10,573 different video game songs. The site was founded on December 19, 1996, and has received over 4 million hits.

All of the files are submitted by visitors to the site, and most of the songs are re-sequenced by hand (the people making the MIDIs did not rip them directly from the game, but rather played (as in piano keys) them into the computer using a MIDI keyboard or program).

All game systems are covered, from the realm of the original Nintendo Entertainment System, to modern systems, such as the PlayStation or the XBox. There is also a collection of user's medleys and re-mixes.
