Urised is a prescription drug - a blend of atropine, hyoscyamine, methenamine, methylene blue, phenyl salicylate and benzoic acid. Urised inhibits the growth of organisms in the bladder as well as reducing spasms that cause frequency, urgency and nighttime trips to the bathroom. Urised is often prescribed in conjunction with antibiotics to fight urinary tract infection. It is also used for sufferers of interstitial cystitis. It turns urine blue or green, depending on fluid intake of the individual.
