Trioch is a local band in
Rockford, Illinois, with band members Sam Cholke, Andrew Culhane, Ryan Green, and Nate Schwerin. In its present manifestation, Trioch was fully formed in 2000.
By playing with other local bands like Trestle, Trioch has begun to establish a reputation for psychedelic indie jam rock. Despite requiring too many adjectives to describe their music (symptomatic of schisms in band influences and directions) they have a good live show presence, especially with songs Be You We You, Baseball Bat, Never Take Your Own Advice, and Good Posture.
Trioch can be differentiated from other Rockford bands by not being a overly-loud punk band and a general appreciation for melody. Local shows are generally cheap.
