Mexican television network which for decades was pretty much the only source of entertainment offered to the Mexican people. Its mastery of the telenovela genre helped it rake in mountains of money to expand its empire throughout the Western Hemisphere. Owns Channel 2, Channel 5 and Channel 9. Channel 2 being the flagship, while Channel 5 and 9 broadcast a variety of locally-produced (read: non-Mexico City) programming.
